Widely published on management reform in the United Nations system.  Doctorate (D.Phil.) in Economics from Oxford University, Nuffield College, United Kingdom and Masters in industrial engineering from Karlsruhe University, Germany.

Sylvia Caravotas

Sylvia has worked with government and private industry within the defence and security field. During her career, she worked for the U.S. Department of State and managed the background investigation programme, criminal investigations within the mission, and law enforcement training programmes. She has assisted in the development of sound security policies and reforms in Africa, initiated cooperative projects between governments, and the private sector and government. Sylvia has a Bachelor of Science in Intelligence Management (Summa cum laude) and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Media Studies.

Pierre-Philippe is a specialist in Governance, Ethics, Compliance, Audit and Human Resources Management. He has developed Strategies and implemented Governance, Risk & Control schemes (Anti-Corruption & Money-Laundering), in the International Private and Public sector, in order to promote Good Governance, Better Ethics, Corporate Social & Environmental Responsibility. Master Degree in Management  (MPS) from Cornell University and Post Graduate Degree from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Assurances (Paris).

Vanessa Matthews

Vanessa has worked in different capacities within the public and private sectors, in international organisations, think tanks and businesses. As a result of the various roles and sectors she has worked in, she is able to approach issues from different perspectives providing a big picture and the small details analysis. She endeavours to advise through empowerment on better ways organisations and companies can produce value through tangible outcomes in operations and management. Her approach is influenced by her academic background of which she holds an MA in International Peace and Security from King’s College London.
